Join Cherie Dorfman, Sussex County Master Gardener, for a free talk on preparing your garden for winter. She will discuss things like:
- Removing debris to prevent disease, mold, and insects from wintering in your garden.
- Planting perennials, bulbs, trees, shrubs and winter vegetables
- Give your gardening tools some attention and storing them for winter
- Lawn maintenance
- Update your Garden Journal

This program is designed to promote interest, exploration, and education in gardening and environemntal science which can supplement science-based collections, libguides, and other library services. Science is key for broader understanding of the world around us, and the study of science encourages analytical thinking, conservation, development of technology skills and mathematics.
