Fundamentals of Playwriting
Are you interested in writing, theatre, or perhaps writing for the theatre? Sharpen your skills or develop new ones in our Fundamentals of Playwriting course, taught by teaching artists from Delaware Theatre Company!
In this fun and supportive class, you will learn how to create characters and tell their stories through dialogue and action as you craft a script for a two-character play. Professional actors will bring your words to life in a reader's theatre-style showcase during the final class meeting. No prior playwriting experience is required.
This program is funded by the Delaware Division of the Arts as a part of its’ Access Creative Aging program, a community-based arts education program designed for adults ages 55+.
